ATC

Thought it was about time I tried out my new Tim Holtz stamps. Bought them on E Bay a while back and haven't really had a chance to do anything with them yet. So here is a wee ATC I made this afternoon.

The background paper is from Do Crafts,I inked the edges with Dusty Concord and added bits of a Zva pearl flurish.

New Stash!!

Yes I know, like I need any more but they were all a bargain!!!  Honest!!
Went to Hobbycraft today (I blame Lisa Mason!! lol) and if I was to buy everything full price, some I never would may i add! but if I was then it would have cost me £120 ish but I got all this for.........£34.77!!! Told you it was a bargain!
Lots of nice stamps.
Bad news is I'm back at work tomorrow so will have to wait a few days before I can play!

For baby Aimee

Didn't want this too fussy and it had keep it flat as it is going to New Zealand
On a 6x6 card I've used pink core'dinations then cut some lilac with my nesties and sanded the edges. Mounted my wee badger and a couple of Docrafts flowers with gems. Finally I've added Doodlebug letters.

Here's baby Aimee with big sister Hayley,  Mum and Dad (my brother James and his wife Dee)

That's better!

I've used my koh-i-noor pencils for these ones (thanks Lynne) and I'm much happier with the way he looks now! I'll use this one for baby Aimee !!

Free Stamp

Think this wee guy is so cute, I've used Promarkers to colour it in but, not too happy with the way it's turned out, hmmm, back to the drawing board! I'm going to have this on a card for my new niece. Aimee who was born today in New Zealand.

First Post!

This is my first shot at a blog, not saying it'll be any good but thought it was time I had a go!!

This ATC was made using all the new techniques I learned from NJ at Cazros Geordieland meet this year, lots of noisy banging, sanding, scrunching and tearing!!! Lots of fun!! I'd never thought of stamping onto the flowers before, simple idea but really effective!  Thanks NJ!!
