Forever Friends

Thought I'd try something a wee bit different, an easel card, ok it's maybe not that different but for me it is!! Never made one of these before so, here it is!

I've used a scalloped 6x6 card that I inked round the edges in green, the papers were free with a magazine I've also inked the edges and rounded the corners of these. The ff bear has been decoupaged with pinflair. It was part of a kit my Mum bought for me, there's loads in it, it seems never ending!! I've cut out 2 flourishes and stamped the sentiment and finished it off with some dew drops.

Never used dew drops either! So there you go, 2 firsts!!!

A wee nestie card

Hello! Yes I know, two posts in the one week...unheard of!!

This is my entry for the Candy Bar challenge over on  Craftymess  the challenge this month is layers.

I put my white card through my Cuttlebug with my largest scalloped circle nestie making sure not to cut right round, leaving a "hinge"  (layer one) then took the next size nestie down and run some pink paper through (layer two) Having stamped my favourite Penny Black stamp on white card and colouring it with my Koh-i-noor pencils, I run it through with a petite circle nestie (layer three) I stamped the hedgie another few times decoupaged the bees wings and the flower and added glossy accents( layers four, five and six?!)  Before finishing off with some punched leaves and a flower I bought at the last craft fair I was at.

Long time no see!!

Yes I know, I'm rubbish at keeping up to date with this...SORRY!!!
Been working a lot lately so not had much free time for crafting. I went to a craft fair a few weeks ago, met up with some fellow crafters which was nice ohh and of course bought some goodies!! Well, be rude not too!

This is the card I'd like to share with you today it's one I made for a special friend's birthday, she has a passion for all things blue! Hmmmm I wonder who that is ;)....... Lynne

On a 6x6 card I layered some textured card that I'd punched with my MS scallop punch,
I coloured the stamp with my promarkers and mounted it on dark blue card then added 3D foam to make it stand out. Finally I added some flowers I had in my stash, think I got them in Lakeland so that'll tell you how long I've had them!! The bigger flowers are Papermania. a few punched leaves some card candy in the middle and voila!!

Promise it won't be as long till I post again!!

New Toy......

Unfortunately not mine but my sister in law was kind enough to let me have a wee play on Monday night. It's a great machine, I love it but I have my Bug so can't justify the splurge!! It was good fun to try out though.

All the dies are hers but I now see I NEED some of the Nellie Snellen scalloped squares, they are lovely.

 

Oh and maybe the flourish too.....oh and the circles.......the list goes on!!!

Bit later than promised but here are some of the cards I made

Firstly I need to say sorry for the bad picture of my sister in the background!! The card was a white 6x6 covered with green Coredinations. I ran some pink Coredinations throught the bug in the script embossing folder then sanded it a little. The decoupage is part of Paperania Summer Bloom? set that I've had for ages just sitting there! I've added glossy accents to highlight the flowers a bit and some card candy just to finish off.

This one would have been good for Valentines day if it was made a bit earlier!! 6x6 white card with Hero Arts heart stamped onto red Coredinations with black memento.
I've set an eyelet at the bottom of the heart on a jump ring put a wee heart charm which I think came from the Works. I've mounted the heart with 3D foam then just doodled the black around the edges of the card!
