Mother's Day

Hello!! Well not only was it Mother's Day on Sunday, I was at a joint birthday lunch for my friend Helens niece Shannon who was 18 and her Auntie Margaret who is 70! We all had a lovely time.

So, now to my card, I kinda stole this idea from Leah she said it was alright to do so!!
I bought my first pack of 8x8 cards at the SECC a few weeks ago.
This is what I did.

I used my PENNYBLACK stamp, coloured it with PROMARKERS and decoupaged it up using PINFLAIR to lift it off the page a bit. The papers are Tea Party from DOVECRAFT and the flowers from WILD ORCHID CRAFTS.

I inked around all the edges with my weathered wood DISTRESS INK

To finish off I added a wee butterfly made with my MARTHA STEWART punch and pearl gems.

Froggy Fairy!

Hello everyone, yes I know it's been an age since I last blogged. Not been around much but I'm back now!!
This is a wee card I made for my cousins wee girl.

An easel card using my new KANBAN stamp coloured with PROMARKERS I used my FOREVER FRIENDS paper and Olivia alphabet and NESTABILITIES in my new VAGABOND (which was a surprise Christmas present!!)
I added some GLAMOUR DUST and GLOSSY ACCENTS to finish it off!!

I think she is super cute, hope Amelie does too!!

Flight Fat Page

Just a quick post to show you the fat page I made for Caros January fat page challenge over at CRAFTING WITH ATTITUDE there are lots of other challenges and swaps there too. Why not come on over and join the fun?!

The papers are DCWV and the stamps were a freebie with CRAFTSTAMPER.

Snowflakes

A while back over on Charisma Cardz Challenge the theme was Snowflakes. This is the card I entered and I won on their facebook page. My prize was some lovely digi stamps. Thank you girls for picking my tatty ted!

I made this by randomly stamping the snowflakes with ice blue fluid chalk all over the white card. I had made up the teddy before from a kit but never used it. He is mounted onto card I ran through the bug in my snowflake folder which I ran over with some blue chalk and they are both mounted onto some blue linen card. I added sone spotty ribbon along the bottom and threaded some navy ribbon (which was a bit I took from a top I bought. You know the bits at the shoulders that always get in the way?!!) through my winter wishes sentiment.

I took this photo last year on Christmas day.
Haven't changed the colour at all it really was that blue!!
Printed it out on canvas paper the other day. (when my printer was playing nicely!!)Just added a bit of glamour dust and there it is!!

Made this one for my neighbour, she lives on the other side of the bridge!!
